This is an industrial grade reverse osmosis (RO) pure water preparation system widely used in industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and chemical engineering to produce high-purity industrial or drinking water.

- Preprocessing system (right area)
Quartz sand/activated carbon filtration tanks: 4 large fiberglass tanks used for initial removal of sediment, colloids, organic matter, and residual chlorine from water, protecting subsequent membrane components.
Precision filter: 2 stainless steel tanks, further filtering small particles to prevent impurities from entering the reverse osmosis membrane.
Dosing device: yellow PE medicine box, used for adding scale inhibitors, coagulants, fungicides and other chemicals to prevent membrane fouling and microbial contamination.
Raw water tank: a large white PE storage tank that stores raw water to be treated. - Reverse osmosis (RO) main treatment system (middle core area)
RO membrane shell component: a multi-layered white pressure vessel filled with RO membrane elements, serving as the core desalination unit that can remove over 98% of soluble salts, bacteria, viruses, etc. from water.
High pressure pump: A black vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump provides sufficient working pressure for the RO membrane to push water molecules through the membrane layer.
Piping and Instrumentation: Stainless steel/UPVC pipes, valves, flow meters (with red float), pressure gauges, etc., used to control water flow and monitor operating parameters.
Electric control cabinet: The left gray control cabinet integrates PLC, touch screen, relays, etc. to achieve system automation control and fault alarm. - Workflow Overview
- Raw water → pretreatment: The raw water enters the quartz sand/activated carbon filter, undergoes chemical flocculation, and then passes through the precision filter to obtain pretreated water that meets the RO inlet requirements.
- Pre treated water → RO system: The high-pressure pump pressurizes the pre treated water and sends it into the RO membrane module. Under pressure, water molecules pass through the membrane to form pure water (produced water), and impurities such as salt are intercepted to form concentrated water (wastewater) and discharged.
- RO produced water → storage/post-treatment: RO produced water enters a pure water tank. If higher purity is required, it can be further processed through processes such as UF and EDI to obtain pure/ultrapure water that meets the requirements.
