1、 Technical requirements: Ultrafiltration filtration method:
- Full flow filtration (opening the inlet valve, closing the concentrated water valve, and opening the production valve to produce only water without impurities) is commonly used for household tap water filtration, but it is not effective in industry as the membrane will quickly clog and shorten its lifespan.
- Cross flow filtration (open the inlet valve, open the concentrated water valve, open the produced water valve, adjust the concentrated water valve to achieve a ratio of 9:1 between produced water and concentrated water discharge. If there are too many impurities in the water quality, the ratio needs to be adjusted to 7:3, which will extend the lifespan of the membrane.
2、 Membrane workflow - Reset all valves (all valves closed).
- Positive washing (open the inlet pump and inlet valve, only open the upper valve, close the other valves, so that all water is discharged from the concentrated water outlet. The general cleaning time is 20-60 seconds, and the regular cleaning time is 30 seconds, which can be freely set)
- Water production (first open the water production valve, close the upper valve, open the inlet valve, adjust the concentrated water valve, and do not move until the desired ratio is reached. - Air scrubbing (open upper valve, open intake valve, close other valves, clean for 60 seconds, regular for 30 seconds, freely set)
- Backwash: First, backwash up (open the upper row valve, open the backwash inlet valve and backwash water pump, close all other valves, generally cleaning time 20-60 seconds, regular 30 seconds, freely set), then backwash down (open the lower row valve, open the backwash inlet valve and backwash water pump, close all other valves, generally cleaning time 20-60 seconds, regular 30 seconds, freely set)
- The above process is repeated to shut down for chemical cleaning (when the membrane flux decreases by 20% or the transmembrane pressure difference exceeds 1 kg). Cleaning is carried out monthly according to the membrane condition. Alkaline cleaning (sodium hypochlorite 200PPM, sodium hydroxide 500PPM) is used to remove organic pollutants such as bacteria and microorganisms. Acid cleaning (31% hydrochloric acid, 400PPM) is used to remove inorganic substances on the surface of the ultrafiltration membrane, such as iron scale, calcium magnesium scale, etc. Normally, the membrane is washed four times a month. Each time, the chemical cleaning valve and cleaning pump need to be shut down for cleaning. The other valves are closed. After the concentrated water valve has water coming out, the cleaning pump is stopped and the chemical cleaning valve is closed. The membrane is soaked for 60 minutes to 120 minutes, and then the backwash pump is turned on until the water becomes neutral.
